This is not a highlight reel

I was told to
expect less.

I chose to test what was possible.

Where it started

Every breath
has always counted.

I was born with cystic fibrosis. It has shaped my life, but it has never been allowed to define its limits.

Living with a condition that demands daily discipline taught me early that progress rarely arrives in one dramatic moment. It comes from the habits you repeat, the standards you hold and the decision to keep moving when things are difficult.

That mindset has taken me through endurance challenges most people thought were impossible, into rooms where I can advocate for people with cystic fibrosis, and into work helping other people build momentum of their own.

“Use your body, value your breath and don’t waste the chances you have.”

The endurance years

Proof is built
under pressure.

These challenges were never about collecting impressive numbers. Each one was designed to test the edge of what was possible and turn attention into support for people living with cystic fibrosis.

  1. 01

    World’s Fittest Man challenge · 2017

24 hours of exercise. No breaks.

I completed 24 continuous hours of exercise without a break, testing strength, endurance and the limits people assumed cystic fibrosis had placed on me.

  2. 02

    Million-kilo world record · 2018

More than 1,000,000 kilograms in 22 hours 11 minutes

I lifted an average of 700 kilograms every minute, on the minute, until the total passed one million. The challenge raised money and awareness for cystic fibrosis and more than doubled the previous record.

  3. 03

    Three Nations · Five Days · 2019

    21 miles swimming. 200 cycling. 160 running.

I swam the 21-mile equivalent of the English Channel, cycled 200 miles from Dover to King Charles’s house for lasagne, then ran 160 miles home to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. I completed it in five days for children with cystic fibrosis and the Rays of Sunshine charity.

    Recognition

Awarded an OBE for services to cystic fibrosis

A recognition I carry with pride, and a responsibility to keep creating visibility, hope and practical support for the cystic fibrosis community.
