Hear the story that led a man with cystic fibrosis from being written off to world record holder
Athlete, Motivational Speaker & Fundraiser
Born with cystic fibrosis, Josh was given 10% chance of surviving his first night due to complications. Growing up, he was told he wouldn’t make 30. At 31, he’s a World Record Breaker and International Motivational Speaker.
To celebrate his 30th birthday, he completed the ‘Worlds Fittest Man Challenge’ to become one of only 5 in the world. The following year on 29th September 2018, he lifted 1,000,000kg’s in under 24 hours to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis, beating the old record by over 500,000kg’s. On 7th October 2019, he embarks on his new challenge by swimming the English Channel (21 miles), cycling 200 miles to Twickenham and then running 160 miles home to Cardiff. All in 5 days with no rest for his charity CF Warriors and Rays Of Sunshine.
